Ship's log: April 20, 2003

Once again I have been catching hell from customers for not keeping this log up. I think I am cursed. Time is that curse, it just keeps going no matter what we do.
We have had some very good trips, and some not so good ones. For some reason the water at Catalina has been a nasty green for some time, limited vis. This weekend though it finally got better. We were at Emerald Bay, and Vis had to be about 50'. Then off to Eagle Reef, and again good vis. The last dive was Isthmus Reef and again 40'+ Vis.
Several divers saw a new type of "jelly fish" I think. Alisa took several pics of it. I will try to get the pics to show you.
We have not made it to the outer islands for a few weeks now. Part is from the weather, and part from the war. San Clemente has been shut down for several weeks, and SBI, well the swells have not been conducive to visit the island. Hopefully that will change very soon.
On the lighter side. Do you how hard it is to find a bug that so stupid a lawyer can catch it? Well that was my goal this last bug season. Well………..I found one. And he caught him and ate him, and had a great time. Just kidding, don't want no stinking law suites. But we all had fun, and the lawyers will be back.
Chamber Day is getting near. Please come with us and have a great time, or try the "Flying Dutch Man". All will help keep the Chamber here, to assist you, when, and if, needed.
