Ship's log: April 28, 2003 Ha! Fooled everyone, I am on time this week. The weather has been terrible so far this year. We have not been to an outer island in months. It looks like a front is coming in for this weekend too. But on the up side. The water is getting clearer, and rays of all types are showing up. A knew type of jelly fish has also showed up. I thought it was a Saulp, but after seeing them, I don't think so. Elaine has taken some pics of them, and I think they are on Diver.net BBS. Chris took a pic of a couple of them, and he does have them listed. As stated, the water is not letting use go to the outer islands. We went to East side of Indian Rock Sunday, and divers really enjoyed it. A lot of times people get stuck in a rut and dive in same places. Many divers had dove Indian Rock many times, but never knew about this reef. Indian Rock has many rocks and reefs all around the outside. Then off to Isthmus Reef. Divers always enjoy the wall there. I do too. I love diver around 50' and watch what goes by under me. All in all everyone had a good time, and the outside weather was pretty nice. Hope this a new trend and the ocean gets the message.
