Ship's log: July 2, 2003 Well……..perhaps we are finally done with "June Gloom". It was down right hot today. We had to shop and unload, then load again the supplies for this weekend. We are off to San Clemente, SBI and perhaps Catalina for a nice day trip with Sport Chalet. We should have a great time. Finally made it out to San Clemente Island last weekend. W went to the East End and dove first at "Window Pane". Vis was about 40' not bad for the vis we have been having. Then over to the East End Wall. A couple of Black Sea Bass were spotter here and again some good vis at around 50'. Then off to "Little Flower". The wreck is all but gone, but there is a resident Black Sea Bass here and of course he/she made a showing. Sunday we went to Catalina and started the day at "Starlight". We opted for here because of the boat traffic at Catalina, AKA "Island Run-A-Muck". Seriously, be careful, most of the boaters do not know about you, and do not know, or perhaps care about the Dive Flag. This is a problem that is getting worse, yet nothing is being done about it. Have safe and sane weekend, where ever you go. Captain Tim Burke
