Ship's log: Monday, April 26, 2004
I know everyone is yelling at me for not posting. No excuse.
Once again I thank all of you for diving with me and my crew, and returning. Mikey, Kendel, Freddie, Gary, Terry, Chris, Captain Don, and others that work part time all thank you.
Last weekend I was playing "chicken" with Air Craft Carrier # 3 on the way back from San Clemente. Those ships are huge. We took a pounding on the way back from Clemente. I am glad that, that only happens once in awhile.
Last weekend we went to Catalina and SBI. Saturday we went to "Yellow Tail Point" for the first dive, only to find green water. Then off to "Indian Rock", the vis was a little better, but not much. The third dive was at "Lions head" and the vis was around 40'. All in all not a bad day. Sunday we went to SBI, the diving there was limited to on land vis. The fog was in and we had to watch out. First dive was at "Brittle Star Reef". First time in several years that the kelp was up. Then off to "White Cave". The vis was a little better, but not much. Final dive was forced on me by the charter master (his trip), in the sand down from the ranger's station at SBI. What a great and wonderful dive that was, and it was my fault. (Bull Shit, Bull Shit, Bull Shit). Most divers had a good day though, and most enjoyed the "boat made" cheese enchiladas, make by chef "Mikey".
Chamber Day will be here next week; I am looking forward to seeing everyone on the trip.
