Just got off the phone with 2 very important people. I asked them what they were doing 63 years ago today.
The first was my Mother. She told me that she and her family were just doing the everyday things. They did not hear about the attack until the next day. My Dad was at Pearl Harbor, he survived along with many others, but he never talked about that day. Vern was the other person I talked to today. He was my Dad’s best friend. He also survived the attack. They were both on the destroyer “Dewey”.
Let us not ever forget our enemies and those that choose to us harm. 911 is only a few years past and many tend to try and forget. NEVER FORGET, NEVER FORGIVE. Never forget who the enemy is. Never forget that they attacked us first. We will prevail, so help us God.
