Well bug season for the most part is over and we, the crew can relax a little. Of course bug hunting is fun and we all enjoy it, but it does take a toll on us. I just came back from my annual, after bug October charters sabbatical in the dessert, and it was good. I think I must have gone a little insane for I rented a tractor and for two days and played landscaper. Did you know that running a tractor is hard work? I did not. Won’t make that mistake again.
Also while I was at home in the dessert I read some very interesting things about my last job. Working for Kraft Foods really sucked. I just forgot that. And for that reason, I will not be selling the GE for a long time to come, if ever. No one would hire me anyway, I was a real handful before I owned GE, cannot imagine what I would be like now.
Diving has been up and down. We had some really good conditions and of course some just mediocre days. Cat though has been the best diving in the last month. I know a lot of you think Cat is just for beginners or you have dove all the spots that there are to dive, but I must say “Contraire….” There are still many spots most divers have not dove at Cat.
Sunday was the only trip scheduled for this weekend and because of the nasty winds last night I cancelled the trip for today. I got a call this afternoon that the “Encore” had made it to Cat, but it was not very nice. I always try to make the best call. Not sure if I did or not for today. But so goes it…..
Can you believe……….another year has gone by? I turn 50 in a couple of months. Time just has a way of going on, whether we like it or not.
I talked to Chris the other day, and he is going to teach me how to incorporate pictures on the “photo page” and I will be adding the “Pic of the day, or week”. So once I get it going I would like everyone to send me special pictures that I can put up.
